French Committee of Byzantine Studies Expresses Concern at Turkish Conversion of Byzantine Buildings into Mosques

The French Committee of Byzantine Studies has expressed its concern at the conversion of Byzantine buildings into mosques in Turkey; UNESCO has sent a letter in response.  The documents are available here:
